Episode Synopsis
An odd stone, discovered in the Georgetown Institute's storeroom, not only possesses disproportionate weight and mass but has just recently become increasingly luminescent. Dr. Moorhouse sends Jonathan to Blueberry, Minnesota, where the stone was found after a meteor storm in 1939. There, despite the determined efforts of nurse and companion Ivy to chase them off, Jonathan and Benny discover Cora Walsh, a 75-year-old woman who wears a smaller version of the same stone as a pendant — and her stone is glowing, too. But more importantly, Cora is pregnant and has been for the past 46 years. Now she insists that the baby, fathered by a visiting space alien who was forced to leave her on the night of the meteor storm back in 1939, is finally due — and only the father's people can birth the child.
