Episode Synopsis The kids swear that they saw people digging up a coffin in the graveyard, and that the guy in the box — wasn't dead. When the coffin in question is opened by the police coroner, the occupant is definitely deceased. However the time of death was very recent...like, some time late last night. Benny's hot on the trail of zombies, which he thinks are being churned out by a new health club called the Fitness Factory to which the unfortunate dead/undead man belonged, but Jonathan refuses to have any part of it. The next day, Dr. Moorhouse< arrives in Jonathan's office, the bearer of sad tidings. Edgar Benedek is dead. Dr. Moorhouse accompanies Jonathan to the wake, held in an NYC strip club, to pay their respects. The honors paid to the 'guest-of-honor' include a stand-up routine eulogy delivered by the National Register's editor-in-chief Jordan Kerner, and a routine of quite another sort delivered by the club's star attraction, Boom-Boom Malloy. Feeling guilty that his refusal to help Benedek with his investigation of the Fitness Factory led to the man's untimely demise, Jonathan conducts his own investigation and discovers, to his horror, that Edgar Benedek might not only still be alive, but that he may very well have been buried in that condition. His dogged search leads him to the Fitness Factory and its director, Dr. Randall, as well as the discovery that the good doctor plans to reap benefits from his best and healthiest patrons. Making my hair come to attention What I feel the naked eye can't see I need a release from this intervention There's a haunting energy Creeping, crawling, scaring me Exorcism's the insurance From that haunting energy Invading my privacy I need some reassurance Walking through these haunted hallways Something's very wrong is my suspicion My imagination's always Imagining I'm not in this position Something's seeping through the door I'm afraid to look but I can hear it Anticipation once concerned me I bet what's dead ahead is a spirit I tried to bury scary feelings Now I need to open up the door Something is knocking Can I find the key? Who could it be? Could it be me? The haunting energy Creeping, crawling, scaring me Exorcism's the insurance From that haunting energy Invading my privacy I need some reassurance I feel something very close now Is there a zombie just behind me? What's at the bottom of the stairs now? What would you do is voodoo? The haunting energy Creeping, crawling, scaring me Exorcism's the insurance From that haunting energy Invading my privacy I need some reassurance What I feel, the naked eye can't see I need a release from this intervention I feel something very close now Is there a zombie just behind me? It's that haunting energy Invading my privacy I need some reassurance Help me, drastic action is required Dirty tricks — I wish I knew some I should be at home in bed Instead of — sh! What's that?
